Donovan Mitchell is reportedly “surprised and disappointed” after Quin Snyder’s resignation as head coach of the Utah Jazz, ESPN sources told Adrian Wojnarowski.
Sources also describe Mitchell as “restless, restless and wondering what it means for the future of the franchise.”
Mitchell saw Snyder as a key piece in signing his five-year maximum contract in 2020. He is reportedly trying to prosecute what it means to lose Snyder in the broader image of the Jazz organization and himself.
The Jazz are starting the search for a new coach right away, with Johnnie Bryant, Alex Jensen and Terry Stotts among the starting candidates.
Mitchell is currently four years old and has $ 135 million left for his deal, with a player option last season.
