Dylan Levitt (center) was key to Dundee United’s fourth-place finish last season and joins for an undisclosed fee
Dundee United have confirmed the signings of striker Steven Fletcher and midfielder Dylan Levitt on two-year contracts.
Former Scottish forward Fletcher, 35, who last played in the Scottish Premiership with Hibernian in 2009, was loaned out by Stoke City late last season.
Meanwhile, 21-year-old Levitt has joined Manchester United on a permanent basis following a successful 2021-22 campaign on loan to Tannadice.
āIām proud to be back,ā Levitt said
“The big draw was coming back and playing. After coming back from an injury, I feel like I really touched the ground. I want to continue that way during the new season and I’m really looking forward to starting.”
Fletcher, who has won 33 games with Scotland, became the first signing of the recently named head coach Jack Ross, with Welsh international Levitt shortly afterwards.
“To bring a player from [Fletcher’s] Experience will be a great asset both on and off the pitch, “Ross said.” The level of quality he has shown throughout his career makes him a really exciting addition. “
