Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Manchester United have made an initial offer of up to Β£ 59.6 million for Frenkie de Jong, which Barcelona has rejected.
Romano has also indicated that de Jong has not revealed his wishes to anyone.
The transfer guru said in a tweet: “Manchester United have made an opening proposal for Frenkie de Jong after talks began on June 1. 60 million euros plus 10 million d ‘euros.
“Barcelona has rejected this initial tender, but the clubs are still in contact.
“De Jong has never indicated his wish to anyone. He is still waiting.”

Earlier reports suggested that game creator Oranje was hesitant to join a club outside the Champions League next season, but it appears that De Jong may have changed his mind.
Today, The People’s Person reported the situation, and the Spanish channel Marca suggested that an offer of up to Β£ 68 million was now on the table.
