Earlier reports suggested that game creator Oranje was hesitant to join a club outside the Champions League next season, but it appears that De Jong may have changed his mind.

Today, The People’s Person reported the situation, and the Spanish channel Marca suggested that an offer of up to Β£ 68 million was now on the table.

It is understood that negotiations are underway, but if Frenkie needs help in deciding, Rafael van der Vaart can offer him some encouragement.

“Just do it!” was the assessment of the situation of old Madrid.

Van der Vaart believes that de Jong’s success with the Dutch national team is due to the fact that he is “the only midfielder with these qualities” that allows him to do “what he wants”.

He went on to suggest that “Manchester United will be just like the National Team, being the only one with their kind of qualities”, and looking at the options currently available to the Red Devils, it would be difficult to disagree.

It is clear that De Jong’s performances with BarΓ§a have not largely coincided with those of Oranje, with Xavier HernΓ‘ndez being given the role of offensive midfielder to accommodate the Dutchman alongside the club’s legend Sergio. Busquets.

Playing as a single pivot in front of Louis van Gaal’s three backs allows him the freedom to grab the ball from the bottom line and do what he knows best: get it on the pitch.

In his own words: “I like to be the first player to receive the ball from the defenders”

It is clear that van Gaal draws more from Jong than Xavi has achieved, but there is one man who has drawn even more: Erik ten Hag.
