We have some sad news for Switch fans.
The Lord of the Rings, Gollum, finally has a release date on most platforms: September 1, 2022.
Daedalic Entertainment and publisher Nacon, in collaboration with Middle-earth Enterprises, released news about the game’s release date on PC, Xbox and PlayStation. Unfortunately, the group also reported that a version of Switch will follow later in 2022.
“He embarks on a dangerous journey like Gollum, pursuing the only thing that is precious to him,” Daedalic said, explaining the title. “From his time as a slave under the Dark Tower to his stay with the Black Forest Elves, he climbs, jumps and escapes danger. Skillful and cunning, Gollum is also torn by his divided personality.
“It’s up to you to decide if Gollum’s darker side takes over or if there’s a spark of reason left in what was once Sméagol.”
