Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt issued a statement Sunday afternoon after a nightly mass shooting in Taft killed one and injured seven.
The shooting took place during a Memorial Day celebration in the Old Town Square.
Witnesses said they heard at least 40 shots.
The OSBI said they were still investigating the shooting and that no one had been arrested.
The scheduled parade and the rest of the festival are canceled, according to former mayor Leila Foley-Davis.
