But without it
You’ve been watching, haven’t you? Miami has averaged 98.2 points in this series, with a low of 81.0 in the last two games. Eliminates math game 1, when neither Marcus Smart nor Al Horford were available for Boston, and the series average drops to 93.25. Finding ways to dispel this offense right now is reasonable, obvious, and necessary, the last of these adjectives simply because this should be our last chance.
Jimmy Butler has been at the center of the problem lately. After scoring 41 points in that first game victory, he has only scored 27 points in the last three games, with 10 of 40 from the field and 1 of 7 from the depth.
If Butler is injured, he will never admit it. He doesn’t even appear in Miami’s extensive injury report. Butler will play with any inconvenience whenever he can, and will condemn the Heat in the process.
However, their total Over / Under points remain above 22 points. How anyone expects Butler to score more than a quarter of what Miami’s total production could be is a bewilderment in which we will not devote time. Rather, we will take advantage of it.
SELECTION: Jimmy Butler Less than 22.5 points (-110)

Goodbye
This is less of a shot at Bam Adebayo than a shot at the entire Miami offensive. If anyone from The Heat deserves credit for this series, it’s Adebayo. The agile center has averaged 14.8 points and 7.8 rebounds per game, as the Heat have had problems.
So why fade it? Because the intent is to fade all aspects of the Miami offensive, but this offensive has been so terrible, the books offer few props for players to exploit. From the early hours of Friday, point accessories are widely available only for Adebayo, Butler and PJ Tucker. Not Tyler Herro (genuinely questionable), not Kyle Lowry (questionable but also 1 of 12 in the last two games), not Max Strus (also questionable, but also 0-of-16 in the last two games).
Losing Tucker’s 7.5 points is a risk both because the total is so low and because the payout is, at best, -124. Fading Adebayo’s 16.5 points is a risk because if anyone in the Heat can beat a total tonight, it’s him.
But your support of 2.5 assists? With positive money? That would depend on other Miami players actually making shots.
Remove 32 of 52 from Adebayo from this series and the rest of the Heat is firing 37.95%. In the last four games, again, excluding Game 1 and their lack of Smart and Horford, that drops to 35.67%. In the last two, 29.88 percent.
Miami is not even making three out of 10 shots other than Adebayo. Therefore, to overcome this point, one could expect Adebayo to need 11 shooting opportunities.
In addition, he has surpassed 2.5 assists only once in the last seven Heat games. Even with six assists in Game 3, Adebayo averages just 2.4 assists per game in this series. In other words, he averages 1.5 assists per game in the other four.
However, betting that you will not receive a third-party assistance can be considered positive.
SELECTION: Bam Adebayo Less than 2.5 assists (+112)
What can Brown do for you?
Boston wants to finish this series tonight. Returning to South Beach for Game 7 would be a tense moment that the Celtics should avoid to improve on their chances in the next round against the Warriors. Boston knows it. Fans know it. Ime Udoka ho sap.
So when the Celtics started rolling, Udoka pushed the gas pedal. He will not relax late to rest his stars. He will face off against the Miami grenade until Erik Spoelstra waves a white flag that would match Tyler Herro’s side adjustment.
The biggest threat to Jaylen Brown not raining again from three is not his shot. It would be Udoka throwing him early in a defeat. A hook game reduces that risk.
Brown has hit at least four shots from beyond the arc in three of the five games in this series, shooting 43.6% from depth. However, he does it again with a probability of +140.
Brown may be cold, but he has hit 39.6% of his three this postseason while shooting 6.6 per game. At a sample size of 16 games, these are not the numbers of a player who can be assumed to be about to cool off.
And on a night when Udoka should play Brown through the proverbial tape, he will have a few extra chances to shoot.
SELECTION: Jaylen Brown More than 3.5 three (+140)
