Join the other fast-paced family, the Mario Bros. (if we can call them that) and his friends at Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge, the upcoming attraction that will open at Universal Studios Hollywood in 2023. Of course, the Super Nintendo World attraction is technically a track and ride vehicle. , but it’s still Mario Kart with all the shells and whistles.
This second iteration of the journey joins the original that opened at the first Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan in 2021, and will also be an expansive part of Universal’s Epic Universe at the Orlando Universal Resort with its own area dedicated to the major franchises of the video game company. That’s not exactly what the pilots will see behind the AR glasses, but using the animation in this teaser to convey the 3D feel is still a bit silly but fun. The peach breaking the fourth wall is the moment and the atmosphere we are longing for during the journey. Clearly, all of this will probably still be different when you’re actually there with the actual effects and images that can’t be easily captured for a demo, and if you’ve watched any Universal Studios Japan video, you’ll know. nor does it do justice to the journey. You have to mount it to be really immersed in 3D environments and we can’t wait.
We also can’t wait for the immensely nice food (like the following example from Japan) and the shops (there is already one in Hollywood) that are also expected to open in 2023 with the attraction.
