Prince Louis may never have sat on the British throne, but he was assured that his presence on the eve of Queen Elizabeth’s platinum jubilee will go down in history.
The 4-year-old son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, turned into instant meme-worthy gold by images of him covering his ears and making faces inspired by “Alone Man” Macaulay Culkin as he she was standing next to her great … grandmother.
Twitter immediately exploded with the photo of a cold-blooded Elizabeth next to a Louis screaming with a variety of funny interpretations.
“As the father of a four-year-old boy who is not in the line of the throne. Prince Louis, we see you and we understand you,” tweeted former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
“People were worried that others would eclipse the queen. Prince Louis accepted the challenge,” another user wrote.

Louis’ lovely display came as he and his famous family members gathered on a balcony during the Jubilee Pass amid huge crowd cheers at the mall. They were there to watch Royal Air Force planes roar overhead to begin four days of celebration in honor of the Queen’s Jubilee.

Louis’s crossings on stage came after he was seen signaling on planes and even chatting with his great-grandmother. At one point, Her Majesty even bowed to speak to the little prince, who looked up and listened intently to every word. However, the little prince seemed to be rebuked at various times by his mother and sister.

The platinum jubilee marks the 70th anniversary of His Majesty’s throne, a great tribute to the oldest monarch. The UK will host a variety of activities to celebrate royal fans and their famous family.
Also in attendance were Prince Louis’ s brothers, Prince George, 8, and Princess Charlotte, 7, as well as his parents, Prince William, 39, and Middleton, 40.

Queen Elizabeth II will miss the National Thanksgiving Service on Friday at St Paul’s Cathedral after experiencing “discomfort” during Thursday’s celebrations, a spokesman said.
