Hilary Devey, the former star of Dragons’ Den, has died at the age of 65, according to her representatives.
The businesswoman died on Saturday in Morocco after a long illness. She was awarded an OBE for services to the transportation and charity industry in 2013.
Among the tributes was one of his former dragon Theo Paphitis, who said he was “so sad to hear of the death of the charming Hilary Devey.”
He added: “He left us all fantastic memories, rest in peace. My thoughts are with his family. X”

In addition to appearing in Dragons’ Den, he also presented the Channel 4 series The Intern.
Her charitable work included her position as vice president of the Carers Trust and she was also a patron of the Stroke Association, after suffering a stroke in 2009.
He also appeared on Channel 5’s The Business Inspector.

He made a fortune by launching a Pall-Ex freight company which, after selling his house and car to install, grew to a turnover of more than £ 100 million.
Speaking in 2011, he said he was proud to “do my part” to support the country’s growing entrepreneurs.
She said: “I would have loved to have had the opportunity to be with the Dragons, and I will remember my own experiences and the realities of running a business today, when I choose to support – or reject – to the entrepreneurs who join me in the Cau. ”
