Four men have been arrested following a police investigation into a reported robbery incident at Walmart Carbonear on Tuesday.
Harbor Grace RCMP received a report of a reported theft in the store shortly before 11:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
Police were told the suspects left the store with a variety of goods, valued at between $ 700 and $ 800, unpaid and left in a blue Jeep.
The vehicle was located a few minutes later on the Veterans Memorial Highway in the direction of Trans-Canada.
The four occupants of the vehicle were arrested and the stolen items were recovered along with goods from another business.
The four men, aged between 44 and 57, were charged with theft of less than $ 5,000 and possession of property obtained for crime.
A man is also facing charges of possession of a controlled drug.
Defendants are scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
