Logitech G has announced a new set of gaming peripherals aimed squarely at women. It’s called the Aurora Collection and it’s very white and pastel.
According to Logitech G, the Aurora collection has been designed to be gender-inclusive, not gender-exclusive, “responding to the needs and desires of female gamers while appealing to all gamers looking for playful design and a curated experience “.
During a briefing about the collection, Logitech said: “We believe gaming should be for everyone, but the world of gaming is not as inclusive as it should be. Trolls are real, gender discrimination is obvious and most of the gear is designed for a stereotypical performance-based type of gamer, so in order to fulfill our commitment to advancing the game for everyone, we need to recognize the changing faces of the community, we need to rethink our design practices and reimagine our product experiences.”
And that’s how Logitech G decided that white and cake, and some smaller, softer gear was exactly what would solve the gender disparity in gaming. Since 90 percent of my wardrobe is black, pastels and brighter colors aren’t exactly my aesthetic. But they can be yours and the Aurora collection is really pretty cool, comments and jokes aside. Let’s take a closer look.
What does the Logitech G Aurora collection include?
Logitech G vice president and general manager Ujesh Desai said that with the Aurora collection, the company has “created a gender-inclusive collection focused on comfort, accessibility and joy” that supports to Logitech’s commitment to “enabling everyone to experience the joy of gaming.”
Here’s what it looks like.

Logitech touts the G715 Wireless Gaming Keyboard as a comfortable keyboard that offers “low vibration with high performance.” It’s finished in white, with a cloud palm rest that I can’t wait to have food, makeup and pen stains all over it. One of the flagships of the Aurora collection, the Logitech G715 keyboard is height adjustable and you can choose between tactile, linear or click switches. Of course, it also features Lightsync RGB.
The G715 Wireless Keyboard will set you back $349.95.
You can also change the top plate and keycaps with two colors available: Pink Dawn and Green Flash. They are sold separately, though.

Also part of the Aurora collection, the G713 gaming keyboard is a compact keyboard that offers “low vibration with high performance.” It really throws out those super satisfying GX mechanical switches. Since it’s not wireless, the G713 is “always on”, allowing you to run your RGB lights to your heart’s content. The G713 measures 370.6mm x 157mm x 37.2mm, weighs 962.5g (wired), and supports Windows 10 or later, macOS 10.15 or later, iPadOS 13.4 or later, and iOS 14 or later.

Logitech said it features a “compact, contoured fit,” but also includes some “advanced gaming technology” (including a game-quality sensor, ultra-sensitive “Lightspeed” wireless, Bluetooth connectivity, and a cycling DPI easily accessible) . The mouse has six programmable buttons in total. It measures 39.4mm x 68.1mm x 105.8mm, weighs 85 grams and has a 40-hour battery life, even when using RGB Lightsync lighting.
