Maserati launches its MC20 Cielo convertible supercar

Maserati has just introduced its convertible version of the MC20 supercar: the MC20 Cielo. Weighing in at just 143 pounds more than its counterpart coupe, the Cielo offsets the weight with an electrochromic (smart glass) roof that drops in just 12 seconds. When the roof is raised, the homeowner can change the roof from opaque to clear and return with polymer dispersed liquid crystal (PDLC) technology. This booth transforms from an intimate view to a full view at any temperature at the touch of a button.

Image with the exclusive Acquamarina paint color, the MC20 Cielo maintains all the features of the coupe with a time of 0-100 km / h of 2.9 seconds, accredited to its V6 that produces 621 horsepower and 538 lb- ft of torque. Butterfly doors are added to its “wow” factor. The MC20 Cielo starts at about $ 212,000.
