Residents of the cast and crew have said goodbye to Ramsay Street after 37 years, with their heads sharing a farewell photo after finishing the last scene.
The Australian soap opera, first aired in 1985, aired its last episodes in August after being removed earlier this year.
A photo from the last day on set shows fan favorite characters such as Karl and Susan Kennedy, Paul Robinson and Jarrod “Toadfish” Rebecchi.

Although Scott and Charlene Robinson, Jason Donovan and Kylie Minogue do not appear in the picture, they will appear in the final episodes after it was confirmed that they will return along with other old Erinsborough faces. Their wedding in 1987 is still one of the most famous soap scenes, with millions of people tuning in to see the couple say “Yes.”
Although the series has lost viewers in recent years, it has always been a favorite in the UK as the sunniest Australian cousin, perhaps a little more glamorous than its British counterparts.
The show’s executive producer Jason Herbison said tears were shed after filming ended.
“We all knew that day would come, but until we were here at the time the last scene was shot, it was hard to express how we would all feel.
“Of course it’s sad and tears have been shed, but we’re also hugely proud. Thirty-seven years is an incredible success and that needs to be celebrated.
“We were also incredibly moved by the response from our viewers around the world. Neighbors is more than just a TV show for many people. They see us as part of the family and feel privileged to have been invited to their home. , “and I know that the legacy of Neighbors will last for many years.”
The star of Dr. Karl Kennedy, Alan Fletcher, the longest-serving actor on the show, told Sky News in a recent interview that saying goodbye to the show would be emotional.
