Raphinha is once again linked with a move away from Leeds, and both Carragher and Neville have given the green light to a possible move with Arsenal and Tottenham interested.

Arsenal and Tottenham have been embroiled in another transfer window, with both sides aiming for Raphinha, but Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville are predicting great things if either side sign the Brazilian.
Raphinha has played for Leeds since signing for the club in 2020, and the Brazilian has been linked with a move since showing his Premier League skills. Barcelona, Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham have been among those interested, but according to GOAL it is the Gunners who have reached the pole position.
Tottenham have already been busy in this transfer window, and Arsenal are looking to match them as the battle of North London continues. But Neville and Carragher have backed both sides to go through Raphinha, after praising him.

Speaking to Sky Sports earlier this year, Neville said: “He’s a top player. I think if they went down, a lot of clubs would look at him.
“I know he was left out towards the end of the [Marcelo] Reigns Bielsa, people say he was inconsistent, but every time I see him I think ‘I wouldn’t like to play against him’. It’s definitely a level above the players on the bench. “
And they often disagree when it comes to discussing Sky Sports issues, but Carragher echoed Neville’s views as he analyzed Raphinha’s performances. “Some of his touches and his play when he comes in, we’ve also highlighted his movement,” Carragher said.

“I was very impressed with him when I saw him at Leicester. He runs and does it, he has great quality in the ball.

“I will never forget a player, as soon as Xabi Alonso arrived at Liverpool, it’s as if you could tell the session, the way it happened, the pace of the pass, the noise of it, like a locker room. Take a step back and say we have one here and it looks like this is what the Leeds dressing room (with Raphinha) did.

Leeds have been reported to be holding at least £ 50m for Raphinha, and Arsenal are said to be considering a bid for the Brazilian. The Gunners are also looking to complete a deal for Gabriel Jesus as Mikel Arteta tries to restructure his front line.
Alexandre Lacazette has now left the club to join Lyon on a free transfer, and Eddie Nketiah is the last remaining striker after signing a new deal. The Brazilian duo of Jesus and Raphinha could be exactly what Arsenal need to return to the Champions League.
But Tottenham are already in the competition and are likely to be able to hijack a deal if they fight Arsenal’s search. Antonio Conte will need depth of squad for next season, and another striker is being the target.
