Nothing Phone (1) limited edition online auction

Everyone knows that Carl Pei, the former co-founder of OnePlus, is a big fan of Apple’s Steve Jobs and is almost as good at marketing products globally.

Now, with his new London-based company Nothing, Pei is making all the right moves to generate curiosity around the long-awaited Nothing Phone (1).

It now offers 100 limited edition (1) phone units at StockX, three weeks before the July 12 global launch. Pei is confident that people are bidding for an unpublished phone and that there is also no official information on what the internal hardware is.

Well, it looks like the much-promoted company auction has worked; Nothing phone (1) has received the highest bid of $ 2,679 (approximately 2,089,832). Keep in mind that the device is expected to be a mid-range phone and, depending on the storage variants, is likely to be priced between Rs 25,000 and Rs 39,999.

Nothing Phone (1): What we know so far Nothing has confirmed that the device will have a flat design with a screen that fits the frame. The railing around the edge is said to be made of recycled durable aluminum.

In addition, it will be powered by the Qualcomm chipset, and the word on the street is that the device may come with the latest silicon from the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 series. And it will run the Android 12-based operating system.

Earlier this week, the company unveiled a Glyph UI with customization options for notifications and sonar. The back has a clear glass housing and is connected with several LEDs.

It will offer personalized light notifications synchronized with 10 different ringtones and notification options.

With three weeks to go before the official launch, we expect the company to show more key features in the coming days.
