Deputy National Leader Perin Davey says the people who voted for the green-light candidates are those who “could afford the risk of change.”
Ms Davey said the regions voted predominantly in favor of stability.
“Regionally, you know, an extra $ 20 on someone’s energy bill is a real hit,” he told Sky News Australia.
“At Wentworth headquarters, maybe less.”
