Platinum Jubilee weekend schedules have been announced with celebrations just over a week away.

Here is a summary of what will happen at events and celebrations as the nation pays tribute to the Queen’s 70th year as sovereign.

Thursday, June 2nd

10 a.m. – Queen’s Birthday Parade begins – Trooping the Color.

10.30am – Members of the royal family leave Buckingham Palace for the courtyard. The military show will be followed by an appearance on the Queen’s balcony, and key members of the royal family, including the children of Cambridge, are expected to see a special step.
