An investigation has been launched into a serious incident of sexual assault in Ivybridge. Devon and Cornwall Police say the attack took place between 7.30pm and 9.30pm in Godwell Lane on Friday 29 July.
A force spokesman said the victim was now being supported by specially trained officers. They added: “We are investigating a report of a serious sexual assault in Ivybridge. The victim is being supported by our specially trained officers. Inquiries are continuing in the area.”

The suspect is described as a white male, between 20 and 30 years old, with a medium build, dark blond hair that is shaved, shaved on the sides and longer on top with bangs that fall over his eye area.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have dashcam footage or has information that could help police is asked to contact 101 quoting CR/068208/22.
