Wide receiver DK Metcalf was present at volunteer training throughout the Seahawks’ low-season program, but is reportedly absent when they move on to the only mandatory schedule job.

NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport reports that Metcalf is not present when the Seahawks begin their mandatory mini-camp on Tuesday. There is no word on whether or not it is a justified absence and Metcalf is still working to get back from foot surgery.

Metcalf is one of many fourth-year companies whose bids for contract extensions have been the subject of attention in recent months. Metcalf college teammate AJ Brown got one of the Eagles after a change in April, but Metcalf, Deebo Samuel, Terry McLaurin and Diontae Johnson are still looking for them.

Metcalf and the Seahawks have expressed confidence that a deal will be reached. For now, however, the wait continues.
