Ricky Martin’s message to his nephew when ‘incest’ claim dropped.

Ricky Martin’s 21-year-old nephew’s order of protection against the “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer has been dismissed following bombshell incest allegations.

Attorneys for Martin, 50, told Page Six that the court in Puerto Rico did not extend Dennis Yadiel Sanchez’s temporary protection order as they had “expected.”

“The accuser confirmed in court that his decision to dismiss the matter was his own, without any outside influence or pressure, and the accuser confirmed that he was satisfied with his legal representation in the matter,” the lawyers Joaquín Monserrate Matienzo, Carmelo Dávila and Harry. Massanet Pastrana said in a joint statement.

“The request came from the accuser asking for the case to be dismissed. This was never anything more than a troubled individual making false allegations with absolutely nothing to back them up.”

The lawyers concluded: “We are pleased that our client has seen justice served and is now able to move forward with his life and career.”

Martin also released a statement via a two-minute video obtained by TMZ. In it, she explained her previous silence and spoke directly to her nephew, saying she hopes “not to hurt anyone else.”

“I’m in front of the cameras today because I really need to talk to start my healing process,” Martin said. “For two weeks, I was not allowed to defend myself because I was following a procedure where the law – the law – required me not to speak until I was in front of a judge and found these claims to be false.”

“But I’ll tell you the truth. It’s been so painful. It’s been devastating for me, for my family, for my friends. I don’t wish this on anyone. I wish the person who said that nonsense the best, and I wish for him to find help so that he can start a new life full of love, truth and joy, and not hurt anyone else.”

“Now, my priority is healing and how can I heal? With music,” Martin continued. “I can’t wait to get back on stage. I can’t wait to get back in front of the cameras and entertain, which is what I do best.”

“Thank you to all my friends. Thank you to all the fans who have always believed in me. You have no idea how much strength you gave me with every comment you wrote on social media. I wish you love and light, and here we come with the same strength and passion.”

Martin’s husband of five years, artist Jwan Yosef, also broke his silence today, posting a photo of the pair together on Instagram with the caption: “Truth prevails.”

Earlier this month, Martin was served with a domestic violence restraining order, but the identity of his accuser was not known at the time.

Initial reports said the alleged victim claimed he and the “She Bangs” singer were in a relationship for seven months, but after they broke up two months ago, the superstar allegedly didn’t accept the split and was seen in petitioner’s house at least three times. .

Reps for Martin immediately denied the claims, saying at the time that the singer, who has been married to artist Jwan Yosef since 2017, would be “fully vindicated.”

Then, on July 13, a bombshell was dropped when Martin’s brother, Eric Martin, revealed that his nephew was behind the accusations, raising the charges to felony incest, which carries a 50-year sentence of prison

Marty Singer, another of Ricky’s lawyers, told Page Six at the time: “Unfortunately, the person who made this claim is struggling with profound mental health challenges. Ricky Martin, of course, has never been — and never will be would not be- involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew. The idea is not only false, it’s disgusting.”

The powerful lawyer concluded: “We all hope this man gets the help he so urgently needs. But above all, we hope that this terrible case will be dismissed as soon as a judge can examine the facts.”

Ricky took to social media after the news broke to release a copy of the decision along with a statement from his lawyers with the caption: “Truth prevails.”
