Capcom released Street Fighter 6 earlier this year, but saved its more detailed trailer for Sony’s gameplay presentation on Thursday. Capcom did not give a release date, but said the fighting game is scheduled for release in 2023.
The latest trailer for Street Fighter 6 confirms many of them, including the return of veteran fighters Ryu (now bearded and very wide) and Chun-Li (who looks mostly new), as well as the relatively newcomer Luke (who debuted). at the end of Street Fighter 5). piece of downloadable content) and Jamie, a brand new fighter.
In addition to an updated list and a more colorful presentation for Street Fighter’s ink splatter aesthetic, Capcom also showed off what appeared to be a free roaming 3D component of the game, which could be a new training area. . With a separate video, Capcom announced that Street Fighter 6 will include real-time in-game comments, such as sports video games, with audio recorded by “well-known fighting game talent.” The trailer included comments in English by Jeremy “Vicious” Lopez and Japanese comments by Aru. It is unclear whether the game will offer multiple languages in all regions or whether Japanese Street Fighter 6 players will have Aru while American players will hear Vicious. But Capcom said the game will support subtitles for comments in 13 different languages.
