York Regional Police have arrested two teenagers in connection with a video recording that allegedly made threats against the city of Aurora.
Police received information around 10:45 a.m. about a video showing a teenager making a threat while holding what appeared to be a firearm, police said.
Police were later sent to two schools, which were put on hold and obtained orders while officers investigated.
Two teenagers allegedly involved in the making of the video were located by police and arrested.
The investigator said the teenagers, who cannot be named under the terms of the Juvenile Criminal Justice Act, were in possession of firearm replicas.
Police are asking anyone with more information to contact them.
