Messages from social media that reportedly appeared on the Yubo platform after a mass shooting at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, show that the alleged killer threatened other users and he casually called the “Yubo school shooter” before the shooting.

Salvador Ramos, 18, harassed people online on social media and made other threats ahead of Tuesday’s tragic shooting that left 19 children and two teachers dead, Sky News reported.

“People would join lives and say, ‘Oh, look, look, he’s the shooter of Yubo’s school,’ an unidentified 17-year-old told Sky News on the platform. Yubo is a live social video streaming app.

Following Tuesday’s mass shooting, social media users showed up to share messages that Ramos posted from his verified account on the Yubo messaging app. Several of the messages show that he used to comment on the rape.

The 17-year-old also said Ramos “would only harass people … and threaten rape, kidnapping and murder,” according to the report.

Ramos has also been proud of the nickname “school shooter,” as he did not correct people for using it, the user said.

“He never tried to close that nickname, he seemed almost proud of it, you know,” he added, according to the report.

The unidentified young man also suggested that the text messages and post-platform interactions were red flags that could have prevented Tuesday’s shooting.

“I’m not going to lie, he was harassed on the app. It’s almost a high school community. There are losers, there are popular people there. It’s weird to explain. Like when he joined lives, most of people called ‘Yubo’s’ school shooter’ [because] he was known for being weird, “he told Sky News.

She added: “[The attack] honestly not surprising. It is a sad fact that it could have been stopped. I really could have done that. “

The messages also show that Ramos brags about buying a gun and telling a chat room that certain people deserve to be “raped.”

Ramos also sent a private message to the 17-year-old, telling her “I’d love to” before telling her “I’m going to jump off a bridge” after she didn’t respond, she told Sky News. Then, presumably, Ramos continued his actions by finding the real name of the girl and the personal mobile phone, to which he sent harassing messages, showing text messages.

“You’re going to ask how I got your number,” a message said, according to the report.
