An accident has closed a section of Freeway 401 East.
Eastern Region OPP say a tractor trailer collided with a stationary vehicle between Shannonville Road and Marysville Road today, causing a fire.
Three people were treated at the scene for minor injuries, no one was taken to hospital.
Eastbound 401 between Shannonville Road and Marysville Road remains closed for cleanup and repair, westbound lane has reopened.
The alternative routes are also very busy and there has been at least one collision.
It involved a boom truck and a camper at the intersection of Blessington and Shannonville roads.
