The first joint official portrait of Kate Middleton and Prince William has been presented: fans react with delight

The first joint official portrait of the much-loved royal couple Prince William and Kate Middleton has been unveiled at the Fitzwilliam Museum at Cambridge University.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were all smiling when they arrived at the museum to see the painted portrait of themselves as it was first revealed to the public.

The portrait, which was painted by award-winning British artist Jamie Coreth, was presented to mark the couple’s visit to Cambridgeshire to celebrate the county.

Kate looks ethereal in a £ 1,595 shiny emerald dress from The Vampire’s Wife, which the Duchess first shook during a historic three-day visit to Dublin in March 2020.

The couple’s first official joint artwork captures the Duchess posing with her arm wrapped around an elegant William, who is dressed in a sharp suit with a blue tie.

Royal fans couldn’t wait and reacted excitedly on social media to the new portrait of their favorite royal couple, with a @loveforcambridg tweeted: “I’m in love with the first jointly painted portrait of our Duke and Duchess of Cambridge by British artist Jamie Coreth is absolutely beautiful and powerful !! Pure perfection “.

The second, with the @Suzanne_Brmptn handle, commented, “Oh wow, that’s absolutely awesome.”

Another, @llaviedenina, wrote: “What a perfect portrait of the future king and queen!”

Kate Middleton looked wonderful in a light blue long coat fitted with stilettos and a clutch bag while visiting the Fitzwilliam Museum with her husband William to see the portrait.
