A rare orange lobster has been caught in the western islands.
It was handed over by a fisherman to the Barratlantic fish processing company in Barra, which has placed it in a tank with other live lobsters.
The chances of a European lobster being orange are one in 10 million, according to the Cornish charity, National Lobster Hatchery.
Locusts are usually dark blue / black.
The National Lobster Hatchery said there were different theories as to why some lobsters had different colors, such as genetics, diet, or habitat adaptation.
He added that the lack of a certain protein could be behind the color orange.
Last year, one in two million blue locusts was landed by a fisherman in Aberdeen.
