At least three people have been killed and 16 seriously injured after a train derailed in southern Germany.
A police spokesman said the train bound for Munich was quite full when it crashed north of the Bavarian ski resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
A total of about 60 people were injured in the crash, a spokesman for the Garmisch-Partenkirchen district office said.
Several students from the school were on board the train, the local newspaper reported.

The images showed two-story regional train wagons stuck between the branches of a tree and rolled down a hill.
People were also seen being taken in bunks.

Police said there was a major operation by the emergency services underway and the railway line was completely closed.
