Silvana Gomez Juarez got her first UFC victory in a remarkable way with a combination of punches that doubled Liang Na just 82 seconds after her preliminary card fight in the UFC 275.
Gomez bounced back after consecutive setbacks with a right hand that turned off Na’s lights, making a couple of followings unnecessary when he fell to the canvas at 1:22 of the opening frame at the Singapore Indoor Stadium.

Juárez’s finish was directly aided by a cheeky fence catch that prevented Na from completing a demolition at the start of the fight. The referee showed Steve Perceval the yellow card after a particularly nasty challenge. When Na hit the mat with a kick, she decided to stand up and hit. It was clearly the right decision.
Na remains unbeaten in the octagon after a second-round knockout loss to Ariane Carnelossi 14 months ago at UFC 261. Prior to that, she had won five in a row on the international circuit.
