The departure of Israel Adesanya thrilled the crowd with more than a five-round tactical display against Jared Cannonier at UFC 276.
Adesanya swept the scoreboard with 49-46, 49-46, 50-45 after 25 minutes with Cannonier. But his impression of “The Undertaker” had far more response than his conservative game plan, as effective as it was against another tough middleweight contender.
The middleweight champion pulled another reference from pop culture when he released “Frozen” in his promise to avenge a loss to Alex Pereira, who previously knocked out Sean on the UFC 276 main chart Strickland to put himself in position for a blow to the title.
