Woman charged with “unprovoked” stabbings at Walmart, Surrey Superstore

Charges have been passed against a 33-year-old woman who allegedly stabbed two people on two different days in the Guildford area of ​​Surrey.

The first victim was stabbed at the Royal Canadian Superstore on 104th Avenue on June 2, and the second was stabbed at a Walmart near 152nd Street on June 4.

Authorities described the injuries of the first victim as serious and those of the second as non-fatal. In a press release, the Surrey RCMP said the two attacks appeared to have been “unprovoked”.

Officers arrested a suspect after the second incident. On Thursday, the RCMP announced that Chantelle Ashley Mulleady had been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of assault with a weapon.

Mulleady is in custody pending her next court appearance.
