Zara and Mike Tindall may not be on the balcony of Buckingham Palace at today’s Trooping the Color, but that doesn’t mean they don’t celebrate the occasion. The Queen’s eldest granddaughter and her husband are expected to watch the parade from the general’s office along with the Queen’s other grandchildren who do not work with the royal family, including the Sussex.
But even before he arrived at the event, Mike shared his costumes, and his enthusiasm for the Platinum Jubilee, on his Instagram.
“A great start to the day, thanks to @thestaffordlondon for having the family,” he wrote on Instagram, referring to a hotel very close to Buckingham Palace. He also showed a limited edition artistic print of the Queen, which is sold for a charity, “Also a great work from @westcontempeditions raising money for @ gosh.charity.”
Finally, he paid tribute to his grandmother and wrote: “I look forward to the next four days and celebrating one of the greatest women on this planet.”
In the photo, Zara is wearing a vibrant red dress and a matching top, a look she combined with bare-toed pumps.
