A new WhatsApp feature could make it much easier to use the app without feeling the pressure of responding instantly.

This is because the popular messaging app is working in a “stealth mode” that will allow you to hide the fact that you are online.

For now, if WhatsApp users want to appear absent, they have to hide their ‘Last Viewed’ status.

In a future version of the app, users will also be able to do so with their “online” status.

It will mean that you can use WhatsApp without any of your contacts knowing that you are online.

The WABetaInfo team detected the next privacy feature, which is constantly looking for new updates.

The blog posted a screenshot of the feature along with a description of how it will work:

It will be possible to configure who can see when we are online directly within our last configuration view thanks to two new options: “All” and “Same as last time”. For example, if you choose “My Contacts” for “Last Views” and “Like Last Viewed” for “Online,” it means that non-contacts won’t be able to see when you’re online. .

The discovery was made in the beta test version of WhatsApp which is used to test new features.

Depending on the site, iPhone users will be able to find it on the Privacy tab of the Settings menu. However, there is still no fixed date on which it will be published publicly.
