Florida authorities are searching for Bam Margera after he fled a rehabilitation facility on Monday, according to a police report from the Delray Beach Police Department obtained by CBS News.
On Monday, the manager of a rehabilitation center called the police because Margera was leaving, even though she was at the facility by court order and was not allowed to leave. The manager told police that Margera said he was not satisfied with the treatment of the facility and that he was going to check on another one.
The former MTV “Jackass” star, whose real name is Brandon Cole Margera, drove off in a black Honda sedan, the manager said.
He was brought to the facility earlier this year under the court-ordered Marchman Act, which provides emergency assistance and temporary detention for people requiring substance abuse evaluation and treatment in the state of Florida. , the manager told police.
Margera did not appear to have harmed herself or others, but staff were concerned that she would leave the premises while under court order. The person in charge of the installation could not give more information about the Parador de Margera and the police could not find him.
On Tuesday, Margera posted a photo of himself and another man, who claimed to be his new anonymous alcohol sponsor.
Margera, a professional skater, often posts videos of her skateboarding and family on Instagram. In May, she reported that she had completed a year of treatment in Florida. Earlier this month, he reported that he broke his wrist while skateboarding.
