Another passenger camp has been set up in a residential green at Canford Heath, the second in the area in 24 hours.
The BCP Council says it knows about nine habitable units and associated vehicles located back in the green area between Stinsford Road and Ryall Road in Canford Heath.
This comes after another group was found yesterday (June 13) that was on the same land but left overnight.
Another camp, believed to be separate, was also reportedly on the ground yesterday at nearby Sopers Lane.
A council spokesman said: “Our staff is visiting the site to carry out the legal assessment of welfare and educational needs, along with any risk assessment needed to determine the level of support to be given to the group. We are in contact with the Dorset police.
“We will visit, relate and monitor the site in the future.”
Dorset police said officers have attended the scene and are in contact with those present as well as the local authority.

They added: “We will continue to monitor the situation and work with our local partners and take appropriate action if necessary.”
Neighborhood councilors Sandra Moore and Sean Gabriel provide updates on the camp to residents, who said they believed police had issued a section 61 notice and expected the group to leave at the end of the day.
He told Echo: “When they arrived early they woke up many neighbors due to the noise of the generators.
“It is very sad for the residents, as it makes a lot of noise and many of them have had to close the windows because of this and the smoke from the vehicles, which is not ideal on a hot day.
“I think we should try to harden this place from the access of vehicles. It is a beautiful field that is used by dog walkers and local children used to flying kites and playing football. Unfortunately, now the field has a good look, so I’m sorry our residents have been bothered. ”
Some elderly residents apparently informed Cllr Gabriel that they were too nervous to leave the house while the camp was in place.
Cllr Gabriel also added that he was grateful to his fellow councilors, police and MP Michael Tomlinson for their quick reactions to the various camps.
